People Coordinator

Summary

Join Midnite, a next-generation betting platform, as their People Coordinator! Based remotely in the UK, you will be a pivotal part of the People team, supporting employee relations and managing the employee lifecycle. You will assist with onboarding, offboarding, contract creation, data maintenance, and payroll. This role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and knowledge of UK employment law. Requirements

• Someone who is highly organised and thrives on detail
• A confident communicator who can handle sensitive information with care and discretion
• Capable of managing multiple priorities under tight timelines while keeping a calm head
• Knowledge of employment legislation and best practice in the UK (or willingness to learn quickly)
• A CIPD Level 3 qualification or a relevant degree (or working towards one)
• Previous experience with HR systems (HiBob, Workable, Microsoft Office, Slack & Google Suite)

Responsibilities

• Support the People team in delivering an excellent experience across all stages of the employee lifecycle
• Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring a smooth and professional experience
• Accurately draft offer letters and employment contracts for new joiners
• Maintain accurate employee data in our HR system, ensuring smooth updates, exits, and compliance
• Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate reporting and payroll processing
• Track probation periods, contract changes, and right to work documentation
• Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, providing timely and supportive responses
• Support on internal recognition, work anniversaries, and other engagement initiatives
• Get involved in internal projects, including policy updates, systems rollouts, and compliance tasks

Preferred Qualifications

Ideally someone with a background in English Literature or similar—strong writing and analytical skills are key
