Summary
Join Khan Academy as a People Operations Coordinator and support the HR operational needs of our employees and internal People Operations teams. You will own onboarding and offboarding systems, ensure employee questions are answered with clarity and empathy, support the Talent Acquisition team, manage the HRIS system, maintain internal and employee-facing documents, support process optimization, provide coordination for HR initiatives, and assist with ad-hoc projects. This role requires 2+ years of professional experience (HR or Talent Acquisition experience is a plus), working knowledge of HRIS and ATS systems, proficiency in Google Suite or MS Office, strong organizational skills, a client-service mindset, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to Khan Academy's mission. Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience; experience in HR or Talent Acquisition is a plus
- Working knowledge of HRIS systems and workflows (such as ADP, Ceridian)
- Working knowledge of ATS systems (Greenhouse preferred)
- Working knowledge of Google Suite and or MS Office, particularly around Google sheets / Excel and writing basic formulas, pivot tables and data scrubbing techniques
- Air-tight organizational systems and routines to prioritize and stay on top of a high volume of processes, requests, and fire drills, seeing things through to βdoneβ
- A client-service mindset and recognition that circumstances change in dynamic organizations

Responsibilities
- Own on-boarding and off-boarding systems, processes, and communications for employees, contractors, and contingent workers
- Ensure employee questions are answered with clarity, empathy, and urgency in service of an excellent employee experience
- Support our Talent Acquisition team with interview scheduling and candidate communications
- Manage our HRIS system including data entry, audits for accuracy, and reporting and compliance audit requests
- Maintain our internal and employee-facing process documents and pages in our knowledge management system to ensure information is up-to-date and readily available
- Support efforts to optimize and streamline HR processes, systems, and communications to create a frictionless experience for team members
- Provide coordination and administrative support for HR initiatives and projects
- Assists with other ad-hoc POps projects and programs as necessary
