Summary

Join PostHog's People & Ops team as a remote employee, contributing to the success of a rapidly growing, globally distributed company. You will play a crucial role in onboarding new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from contract signing to long-term success. Responsibilities include managing contracts, compensation, and benefits; automating internal processes; maintaining legal compliance; and managing equipment. The ideal candidate is incredibly optimistic, supportive, and trustworthy, with experience in Ops at a remote or hybrid business and a scaling tech company. Requirements

  • Incredibly optimistic and supportive - your default is 'yes, and' when people come to you for help, not 'no, but
  • Worked in Ops at a remote or hybrid business
  • Worked in a scaling tech company, ie. headcount growth to 100+ people quickly
  • Incredibly trustworthy, as you'll have access to very sensitive data

Responsibilities

  • Onboarding new team members, ensuring their first weeks are memorable (for the right reasons!)
  • Contracts, compensation & benefits administration
  • Keep automating all our internal processes
  • Keeping us on the right side of all our legal requirements, whether that's keeping on top of the latest legislation, state registrations for taxes (US) etc
  • Managing equipment so our laptops don't disappear into the ether

Preferred Qualifications

(US only) Experience working across multiple states in the US
