Requirements
- 7+ years in complex project management leadership, insurance operations, product development and/or implementation
- Exceptional project management, documentation, attention to detail, and cross-functional coordination skills with the ability to lead multiple workstreams at once
- Highly organized, process-oriented, and comfortable working in a startup environment with lean resources
- Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change across underwriting, product, engineering, and data functions
- A self-starter mindset: Comfortable with rolling up your sleeves to meet aggressive growth goals and continuously iterate on product offerings
Responsibilities
- Lead Product Execution & Change Control
- Shape the future of the company by collaborating cross-functionally to create and execute a holistic insurance product design and delivery flywheel
- Own the end-to-end operational delivery of new insurance product launches and updates across lines, states, and carriers
- Manage the product change control process including versioning of forms, rates, rules, and underwriting guidelines
- Maintain a transparent product roadmap/release calendar; track key dependencies and milestones across internal teams
- Drive Cross-Functional Enablement & Operational Readiness
- Partner with Technology, Product, and Underwriting teams to ensure changes are implemented accurately in policy admin, rating, and CRM systems
- Act as the operational liaison with Technical Product, Engineering, and Data teams during platform changes or new workflow development tied to product expansion
- Develop comprehensive end-to-end systems testing plans for any new products, product enhancements, updates to forms, rules, or workflows
- Support the creation and delivery of just-in-time training for Risk Engineers and Brokers in collaboration with Marketing and Sales Operations
- Improve Tools, Processes, & Operational Efficiency
- Identify and implement enhancements to documentation, intake workflows, and audit frameworks to improve quality and reduce turnaround time
- Proactively manage bottlenecks and help scale operational processes to support new product volume and complexity
- Maintain high documentation hygiene and build repeatable playbooks for future product rollouts
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with and understanding of insurance policies and forms, rate/rule changes, and filing execution (including familiarity with SERFF, ISO/NCCI bureau filings, and admitted/non-admitted product structures) a plus
