Summary
Join Smartsheet as a Global People Operations Specialist and provide support and administration for our human resources employee inquiry systems, information systems, and related People (HR) systems. You will act as a point of contact for Smartsheet employees, addressing inquiries and liaising between various teams. Responsibilities include managing high-volume administrative tasks, coordinating employee onboarding, managing data in Workday, and acting as a Smartsheet Cultural Ambassador. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of HR experience and a customer service mentality. A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Requirements
- 1 - 2 years of direct experience in a HR setting
- A customer service mentality - you have a passion for working with various employees and solving their problems and/ or issues
- An ability to understand new HR concepts
- A formal understanding of multiple HR systems and processes while working with multiple functional departments
Responsibilities
- Act as the โfaceโ of Smartsheet People & Culture while acting as a point-of-contact for Smartsheet employees on a variety of company and system-related inquiries using a ticketing system to ensure effectiveness, accuracy, and efficiency
- Meet SLA requirements for resolving tickets via FreshService ticketing system
- Act as a main point of contact for employees on a variety of employment and People-related inquiries and liaison between the Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Office, and IT teams
- Perform and manage a variety of high volume, transactional, administrative tasks for various departments within People & Culture
- Lead the coordination of employee pre-hire onboarding, including: background checks, onboarding paperwork, new hire onboarding, equipment provisioning, and โwelcome eventsโ
- Manage data and business flows utilizing Workday or other people systems, ensuring data integrity by performing administrative processes and audits
- Be a Smartsheet Cultural Ambassador - recognize and develop the culture of Smartsheet while continuing to champion the core Smartsheet values
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Ticketing system (FreshService), HRIS (Workday), and Smartsheet experience are a plus
