Performance Marketing Coordinator

Summary

Join Wattpad as our new Performance Marketing Coordinator and contribute to our performance marketing practice. You will execute marketing campaigns, build our knowledge base through testing and experimentation, and support the development of efficient systems and processes. Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to ensure performance marketing objectives are met. You will derive insights from Wattpad's user base to inform channel strategy. This role requires experience in marketing, advertising, or analytics, a strong understanding of paid media channels, and comfort with data analysis. Passion for Wattpad and its community is essential. Wattpad is a remote-friendly company with offices in Toronto and Halifax.

Requirements

• A highly engaged Wattpadder! Passion for the platform, Wattpad stories, and their creators is a must
• Educational or working experience in marketing, advertising, or analytics
• Strong attention-to-detail, organizational or project management skills
• You can demonstrate a fundamental understanding of paid media channels—including audience building, ad development, tracking, and trafficking processes, and have a point of view on which brands are doing amazing work in marketing/advertising
• You are comfortable with and excited by data, and can glean learnings and insights from numbers
• An eagerness to take initiative and an ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive, multi-channel paid media campaigns to drive brand awareness, user acquisition, reactivation, and/or revenue, based on company objectives
• Provide performance marketing support to a variety of specialized marketing initiatives, including promoting our brand and product value proposition, Wattpad Originals, and our subscription plans (Wattpad Premium, Wattpad Premium+)
• Set up and maintain cadence of reporting on channel performance for key stakeholders to inform them of insights and learnings that can feed into campaign creative and execution for future performance optimization
• Maintain ongoing documentation of new learnings, best practices and processes in order to build our knowledge base while sharing these regularly with the organization
• Execute ongoing experiments in collaboration with the Performance Marketing Manager to unlock new winning strategies

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta BluePrint, and TikTok certifications, are a plus
