Summary

CoreWeave is seeking an experienced Physical Security Specialist to manage the security of data center spaces. The role involves creating system designs, bidding and awarding projects, monitoring construction progress, participating in test and commissioning, creating and managing a preventative maintenance program, coordinating with security operations, maintaining relationships with manufacturers and integrators, conducting site evaluations, and reporting findings. The role requires professional certification, 10+ years of experience in electronic physical security, including 5+ years in a data center environment, located in the Central, Mountain or Pacific timezone, manufacturer certifications from major Physical Security providers, experience using Bluebeam, AutoCAD and/or Revit, network administration experience with certifications, experience with IT network topologies and basic routing/switching, experience with basic Cyber Security principles, ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, excellent technical writing, presentation, and documentation skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, attention to detail, follow-through, willingness to learn new technologies/toolsets as an ongoing part of the role, willingness to travel up to 25%, availability outside of regular business hours to support critical issues or meetings. Requirements

  • Professional certification (e.g. PSP, CPP, etc.)
  • 10+ years in electronic physical security, including 5+ years in a data center environment
  • Located in the Central, Mountain or Pacific timezone
  • Manufacturer certifications from major Physical Security providers, such as Genetec, Axis, HID, Suprema
  • Axis Certified Professional
  • Experience using Bluebeam, AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Network administration experience with certifications
  • Experience with IT network topologies and basic routing/switching
  • Experience with basic Cyber Security principles (e.g. Comptia Security+, Comptia Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate)

Responsibilities

  • Create system designs using industry standard tools such as AutoCAD and BlueBeam
  • Create scopes of work and prepare bid documentation
  • Seek bids for projects, and award projects based upon established criteria
  • Monitor construction progress and oversee vendor payment
  • Participate in test and commissioning
  • Create and manage a preventative maintenance program
  • Coordinate with security operations for ongoing monitoring and moves/adds/changes
  • Maintain relationships with various manufacturers and integrators, and with CoreWeave’s co-location partner network
  • Conduct site evaluations and report findings to Security team and leadership
