Quality Program Manager, Remote - Worldwide
Summary
The Quality Program Manager will ensure Dandy's CAD/CAM designs meet high quality standards and implement continuous improvement practices. They will develop SOPs, drive standards towards positive doctor outcomes, lead CAPA initiatives, manage a team of technical experts, and work with software engineering teams to build tooling that supports product quality.
Requirements
- Track record of success in building new operational processes and an ability to work through ambiguity
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Biomedical Engineering
- 5+ years of quality engineering or quality assurance experience with cosmetic/aesthetic components
- Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen and CAPA experience or certifications
- Experience in implementing SOPs and other quality documents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to problem solve independently
- Ability to meet deadlines while ensuring superior quality standards for every case
- Flexible, able to adapt in a changing environment
- Positive attitude and consistently strong work ethic
- Comfortable with learning new dental terminology
- Ability to effectively manage time and handle multiple task assignments
- Skilled in quality data management, analysis, and reporting including Tableau/Looker/Power BI
Responsibilities
- Implement standard industry practices for continuous improvement (e.g., Gemba Walks, 5 Whys, DMAIC, etc.)
- Develop and maintain Dandy SOPs for design and quality assurance
- Develop, prototype, validate, and implement new design standards, methods, and processes
- Continually drive standards and SOPs towards objective measures that lead to positive doctor outcomes
- Lead CAPA initiatives with external partners to determine root cause and ensure necessary actions to correct are implemented
- Own complaint/refabrication data, metrics and drive improvements
- Work with software engineering teams to build tooling that supports product quality
- Partner cross functionally with manufacturing to ensure an excellent product outcome for our customers
- Manage a small but mighty team of technical experts
Preferred Qualifications
- Outstanding professional references to share
- CQE or CQA certification is a plus
- Part of a startup acquisition or IPO
