Summary

Join Dane Street, a fast-paced Inc. 500 company, as a Physician Panel Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining the physician panel, negotiating contracts, onboarding new physicians, and assisting with lead generation. This role requires strong negotiation and communication skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and experience in physician recruitment within a healthcare or insurance setting. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred. Requirements

  • Possess physician recruitment experience in a Healthcare/Insurance setting or equivalent transferable skill set
  • Have computer literacy and typing skills

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate new contracts and fee agreements with current or new panel reviewers
  • Understand Client fee schedules and TAT requirements in order to Negotiate physician agreement terms
  • Assist with maintaining physician profile instructions
  • Assist with maintaining updated fees
  • Assist with maintaining Doctor Groups
  • Assist with deactivating/reactivating physicians
  • Assist with W9 remit to changes
  • Assist Network Specialists in generating new leads for network requests and panel expansion
  • Be responsible for the administrative tasks relative to the maintenance of the physician panel
  • Onboard new physicians based on Client needs
  • Negotiate costs/contract terms according to pre-established guidelines
  • Obtain necessary paperwork including agreement, application, CV, W9, NPDB
  • Work with the Director of Operations to set the fees for agreements
  • Provide dictation/Access DS instructions
  • Assist physician reviewers with technical or case inquiries
  • Perform other duties & special projects, as assigned and based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possess an Associateโ€™s Degree or Bachelorโ€™s Degree
  • Have business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting
  • Have working knowledge of physician networks, recruitment, medical specialties and terminology
  • Have general knowledge of State and Federal compliance guidelines
  • Possess strong negotiation skills, communication skills, understanding of medical terminology, critical thinking, organizational skills, and ability to manage time efficiently and to meet specific deadlines
