Summary
Join Sleep Doctor as a Sleep Care Advocate and contribute to the evolution of our e-commerce business and product strategy, focusing on CPAP and bedding products. You will analyze home sleep test results, communicate findings to customers, provide equipment recommendations, and educate patients on product usage. This role involves excellent customer service, technical support, and collaboration with other departments. The ideal candidate is a licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) and/or Registered Polysomnographic technologist (RPSGT) with DME experience. Requirements
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) and/or Registered Polysomnographic technologist (RPSGT)
- 2-3 years of DME experience and/or sleep lab titration experience
- Be able to troubleshoot and provide recommendations for appropriate CPAP masks, CPAP and BiPAP equipment
- Be able to set up and operate devices such as CPAP and BiPAP machines
- Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME), specific to Sleep Apnea and CPAP Products
- Excellent verbal, written, communication skills, and ability to properly treat confidential information
- Thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative cross-functional environment; can multi-task and pivot with relative ease as priorities change
Responsibilities
- Analyze home sleep test results to identify patterns and abnormalities
- Communicate findings clearly and effectively to customers
- Address customer questions and concerns
- Provide equipment recommendations based on sleep test results and physician recommendations ensuring alignment with individual customer needs and treatment plans
- Sell CPAP, BiPAP, and therapy equipment options as well as educate customers on product features, benefits and proper usage
- Perform virtual demonstration and education of respiratory therapy equipment
- Assist with virtual setups of PAP devices and masks for customers
- Train and educate consumers on use of equipment and answer any inquiries related to services or equipment
- Keep track of industry news and developments
- Maintain working knowledge of current DME products and services offered by the company, including initial qualifications for PAP devices
- Provide technical support for PAP patients, referrals, and team members
- Maintain good relations with clients and consult with referring physicians regarding patient treatment, medical conditions, and home environments
- Identify programs or initiatives that potentially could increase company revenues, decrease costs, and/or increase customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with other departments to minimize delivery expenses and provide efficient service to customers

- Base Salary Range: $68,000-75,000 annually
