As a Kafka Engineer, you will be responsible for managing Apache Kafka clusters and building scalable solutions for internal engineering teams. Requirements

• Able to manage Apache and Confluent Kafka clusters with ease
• Familiarity with all aspects of Kafka’s architecture
• The ability to install and upgrade Kafka Clusters is a must
• Expertise in determining Kafka cluster needs and optimizing performance
• Experience with Linux development and administration is required
• System administration experience/knowledge is required
• Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible and Salt

Responsibilities

• Constructing and managing Kafka clusters
• Maintain solution robustness, high availability, and peak performance
• Builds and configures redundancy clusters, implements monitoring tools and alarms, and is well-versed in industry best practices
