Summary

Join our team as a PLC Support Specialist and shape the future of technology! Based in Poland, Italy, or Spain, you will provide remote and on-site support to customers and field service technicians for PLC/PC/HMI and NETZSCH Connect. You will participate in commissioning new machines, collaborate on Industry 4.0 projects, and communicate with global teams. This role involves up to 30-40% travel within Europe, with potential for worldwide travel. Onboarding includes up to 3 months in Germany and Spain, with the option to work from home when not traveling.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, related technical degree, or equivalent training or experience in a field of technology such as electrical, electro-mechanical or similar field
  • Requires a minimum of 3-5 years‘ experience in machine maintenance
  • Solid electrical/programming knowledge
  • Experience in industrial PLC environment in Siemens (optional Mitsubishi or Allen Bradley)
  • You have already experience in remote support
  • Knowledge of drive technology and switchgear construction
  • Knowledge and experience in Software creation with Siemens S7 and TIA Portal and the Visualization Software WinCC flexible
  • Flexibility and up to 30-40% travel in Europe, in cases worldwide, required

Responsibilities

  • Support our customer and Field Service Technicians in service cases related to PLC / PC / HMI and NETZSCH Connect via Remote Services
  • Support our customer and Field Service Technicians onsite in the field if necessary
  • As part of a strong Commissioning Team for new machines in wet and dry grinding at customer‘s site, short travels for signal exchange with customer’s SCADA system are required
  • Participation in projects and developments related to Industry 4.0
  • Communication with other Service Support Center and engineering department worldwide

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous field service experience preferred
  • Preference for being in contact with customers and having good communication skills as well as high quality standards in your work ethic
