Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant PR experience, with a strong track record of securing podcast placements
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
• Proficiency with PR tools such as PRNewswire and MuckRack
• Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to build targeted media and analyst contact lists
• Develop compelling pitches tailored to podcasts, YouTube, and other digital platforms
• Write and distribute press releases to media contacts
• Secure media opportunities and build strong relationships with key influencers and journalists
• Coordinate submissions for speaking engagements and industry awards
• Track, analyze, and report on PR performance metrics
• Stay updated on media trends and opportunities, particularly in digital video and audio spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with project management tools; familiarity with Teamwork is a plus
• Experience working remotely in a similar role
• Proven ability to build relationships with media contacts and effectively manage communications strategies
