Pre-Sales Value Advisor Intern

Summary

Join Precisely's Summer Internship Program as a Pre-Sales Value Advisor Intern! This paid, part-time, 10-week remote internship (June 9th-August 15th) is open to US-based university students. You'll collaborate with the Value Engineering and Business Architect team, contributing to methodology refinement, creating client-facing content, and supporting sales engagements. The role involves discovery workshops, developing high-quality deliverables, and presenting value propositions. This internship offers valuable experience in a leading tech company, networking opportunities, and hands-on experience.

Requirements

• MBA students with 2-4 years of prior work experience preferred, management consulting experience is a plus
• OR rising undergraduate junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's in Business Administration
• Excellent PowerPoint and MS Excel skills
• Basic familiarity with Enterprise software applications, preferably data management solutions
• Travel is required: Yes– May need to travel for projects. Travel costs will be reimbursed

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the Value Engineering practice in enhancing and refining our methodology, content and tools
• Create outside-in Point of View documents that articulate Precisely’s value proposition specific to a key industry vertical
• Support Value Advisors to identify, develop and execute VE engagements for targeted sales opportunities
• Support discovery workshops with clients to understand their goals, profile their current maturity across various business and data functions, identify the opportunity and cost to get to best-in-class (or the desired state) of maturity. This could be customer-facing and/or prep work
• Support the creation of high-quality deliverables that clearly articulate insights, business recommendations, solution recommendations, multi-year roadmaps and document the full business case to justify action
• Support presentation and validation of the value proposition to various organizational levels
