Summary

The job description is for a Principal Consultant, Rebate and Fees position in the Business Services team at Model N. The role involves supporting Commercial Rebate and Fee processing, managing client relationships, and leading a team of Medicaid rebate analysts. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field and 6+ years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry with Medicaid agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• 6+ years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry working with Medicaid agreements is required
• Experience working in mandated deadline environment; effective management of multiple client assignments; ability to prioritize
• Excellent oral and written skills
• High accuracy rate and attention to detail along with high degree of analytical skills; ability to produce client-ready deliverables to a high-level executive/professional client base
• Experience with Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills
• Able to manage multiple and competing tasks across functional areas is essential
• Technical ability to understand underlying data structures and deal with large amounts of data

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing client relationships (interface w/clients to resolve specific issues)
• Responsible for review and approval of the setup and maintenance of customer contracts and data management within Model N systems
• Ensure Medicaid rebates are processed and paid according to government and contractual requirements
• Lead, review and approve Medicaid rebate deliverables to client
• Oversee the analysis and review of monthly and quarterly deliverables to ensure reports are submitted in accordance with contract terms
• Ability to handle complex and/or varying types of pharmaceutical rebates
• Respond to customer and client inquiries regarding processing status, reconciliation questions, data discrepancies and payment status
• Lead, manage, mentor, and develop Medicaid rebate Analysts
• Collaborate with GP Pricing and GTN teams, participating in cross-functional meetings providing insights and information as required
• Comply with all SOC controls and internal processes and procedures
• Support ongoing software product testing
• Continually strive to improve our business services processes and programs to enhance operational efficiency
