Summary

The job is for a Principal Consultant position at V2, a Salesforce partner with over 19 years of experience. Requirements

  • At minimum, 6+ years of consulting experience with a focus on Salesforce’s high-growth Clouds, including Salesforce Core, Marketing Cloud, Mulesoft, Data/Analytics and/or a combination of these
  • Strong technical background in Cloud systems integration and Salesforce.com consulting
  • Experience working within applicable industries, including Media & Entertainment, Retail, and Communications, to name a few
  • Experience in creating strategic roadmaps and driving business development for external clients
  • Excellent client engagement and relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality solutions

Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of projects and programs
  • Support business development efforts
  • Develop and deepen relationships with Salesforce and Snowflake sellers in key solution areas
  • Collaborate with V2 Marketing to create thought leadership content
  • Uncover new opportunities through channel network relationships
  • Drive scoping activities and strategize with V2 sellers to present proposals
  • Participate in executive-level closing activities with Sales Leadership
  • Engage with project teams and client stakeholders to understand business challenges and opportunities
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities with existing clients
  • Support client buy-in and expand the use of Salesforce platforms
  • Assist in scoping, proposing, and closing new Statements of Work (SOWs) and change orders
  • Provide support to create industry-focused solutions in high-growth areas
  • Build industry-specific subject-matter expertise and Cloud technology knowledge
  • Collaborate with V2 Talent to leverage existing solutions and knowledge
  • Grow strategic certifications to support role and company knowledge
  • Standardize documentation and training to support company growth
  • Monitor and ensure successful delivery of assigned client programs/projects
  • Provide lead presence with clients and delivery teams to overcome challenges
  • Assist in scaling the Delivery team with proper people, processes, and technologies
  • Build professional skills including conflict resolution and presentations
  • Ensure high-quality solution designs and implementations using V2’s systems
  • Manage day-to-day client interactions and work effectively as part of V2’s global team
  • Create and oversee action items for clients and V2 team members
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements
  • Collaborate to design, configure, build, test, and deploy Salesforce.com platform features
  • Map out data migrations and migrate data using advanced tools
  • Design business requirements and specifications for custom solutions
  • Present designs and solutions to clients through demonstrations
  • Lead end-user training sessions and maintain Salesforce.com certifications

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce Media Cloud experience preferred
