Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with a significant portion at the senior or principal level, ideally within B2B SaaS platforms
  • Demonstrated success in owning a product from ideation to launch, managing both strategic vision and tactical execution
  • Ability to think strategically about product direction while also diving deep into data and user insights to inform decisions
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using product data, metrics, and KPIs to drive continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, designers, and key stakeholders
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with engineering, sales, customer success, and legal/compliance teams to deliver value-driven outcomes
  • Deep empathy for users, with a track record of championing customer needs and translating them into meaningful product enhancements
  • Experience conducting user research, persona development, and testing new ideas to validate and refine product direction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A natural ability to build relationships across departments and influence without direct authority
  • Proven track record of scaling products to meet growing market demands, optimizing for both performance and user experience
  • Experience integrating products with third-party tools, driving innovation through automation, and building products that support high-volume, complex user bases
  • A problem solver who takes full ownership of challenges, finds creative solutions, and executes effectively, even in ambiguous situations

Responsibilities

  • Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for the Contractor Management Platform
  • Develop a long-term roadmap focused on innovation, user experience, scalability, and compliance
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on product goals and deliverables
  • Gather feedback from clients and stakeholders to inform product development and prioritization
  • Lead efforts to enhance platform features that streamline contractor onboarding, management, compliance, and reporting
  • Identify opportunities for automation, integration with third-party tools (such as HRIS systems), and improvements to the user experience
  • Ensure that the platform remains compliant with evolving labor laws, contractor classification regulations, and industry standards across multiple jurisdictions
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks and ensure the platform supports regulatory requirements
  • Champion a user-centric approach to product development, ensuring that the platform meets the needs of contractors and clients alike
  • Conduct market research, client interviews, and user testing to validate product ideas and features
  • Use data and analytics to measure platform performance, track user engagement, and identify areas for improvement
  • Define success metrics for the platform, including KPIs related to revenue, user adoption, retention, and operational efficiency
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to define go-to-market strategies for new features and releases
  • Support client acquisition and retention efforts by highlighting platform benefits and creating a compelling product narrative
  • Ensure the platform is scalable and optimized for performance as the user base grows, and identify new opportunities for expansion and integration
