Principal Product Manager

Summary

Join Ivanti as a Principal Product Manager and lead the development and execution of product roadmaps for federal customers. You will ensure alignment with FedRAMP and other relevant certifications, collaborating with various teams to meet regulatory requirements and customer needs. This role involves managing the entire product lifecycle, conducting market research, and acting as the primary liaison with federal customers. Success requires proven experience in product management within the technology industry, specifically with federal customers and compliance (especially FedRAMP). A deep understanding of FedRAMP High and DoD IL5 requirements is essential.

Requirements

• Five to seven years of proven experience as a Product Manager in the technology industry, with a focus on federal customers and compliance (especially FedRAMP)
• Deep understanding of FedRAMP High and DoD IL5 requirements and experience leading products through the certification process
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on time
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions
• Proven ability to think strategically and execute methodically
• Experience in managing relationships with federal customers and understanding their unique needs and challenges
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the product roadmap for solutions aimed at federal customers, ensuring alignment with FedRAMP and other relevant certifications
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and compliance teams to ensure our products meet regulatory requirements and customer needs
• Manage the complete product lifecycle, from conception to launch, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and identify opportunities for differentiation
• Act as the primary liaison with federal customers and stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure their satisfaction
• Lead efforts to achieve and maintain FedRAMP certification for our products
• Provide expertise and support for sales and marketing activities related to federal customers, including presentations, RFP responses, and customer meetings
