Pro Executive

Summary

Join Vercel as a Pro Executive to provide technical sales support to Pro customers throughout their lifecycle. This role blends Account Executive, SDR, CS Representative, and Sales Engineer responsibilities. You will optimize customer configurations, recommend performance improvements, position Vercel plans and products, coordinate with internal resources, and provide technical guidance. The ideal candidate is passionate about web technologies, deeply knowledgeable in Next.js and Vercel's offerings, and possesses a strong technical sales background. You will act as a bridge between customers and the product team, gathering valuable feedback and insights. Requirements

• Deep technical understanding of web technologies, particularly Next.js and Vercel's platform
• 3+ years of experience in a technical, sales, or customer support role for a technical product
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Passion for web development and staying current with the latest trends and technologies

Responsibilities

• Optimize configurations for Pro customers to ensure they're getting the most out of Vercel's platform
• Recommend changes to improve site performance and overall user experience
• Position and articulate the benefits of different Vercel plans and products to drive expansion and adoption
• Introduce and coordinate with other internal Vercel resources where relevant to support customer success
• Provide exceptional technical guidance and support throughout the customer lifecycle
• Act as a bridge between Pro customers and Vercel's product team, gathering feedback and insights

Preferred Qualifications

• Have hands-on experience with web development using Next.js
• Familiarity with other frontend frameworks and static site generators
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and serverless technologies
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
• Knowledge of SEO best practices
