Summary

Join the newly formed Procurement Center of Excellence as a Procurement Manager! In this operational expert role, you will manage contract execution, punch-out catalogs, metric reporting, and P2P platform updates. You will collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring day-to-day activities and service level agreements are met. This role will drive improvements to the P2P platform and contribute to strategic objectives. You will support the sourcing and procurement organization, develop and implement strategies, and train stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with a proven track record in procurement.

Requirements

  • 7 years’ experience in Procurement, Operational Management, Business Administration/Business Operations, Purchasing, or Process Management
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written skills with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent internal relationship building skills – your ability to partner with other parts of the organization will be critical to your success
  • Strong influencing skills that can be used to build partnerships with internal resources
  • A ‘can do’ attitude to work that needs to get done as part of a high-growth company.Driven individual with analytical approach and high degree of personal organization and a strong passion to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Support the sourcing and procurement organization to meet goals and objectives to the overall strategy
  • Support development and implementation of procurement strategies and policies
  • Train stakeholders on utilization of the P2P platform and ensure compliance with the best practices
  • Support the financial analysis of the various spend portfolios, including market price benchmarking and total cost analysis
  • Shows excellent judgement regarding standard operating procedures to help expedite results and meet timelines
  • Ensure consistent application of procurement processes across constituent groups
  • Measure compliance by end users to Procurement policies and contracts
  • Identify opportunities to standardize purchasing requirements
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers, analyze quotes from a TCO perspective
  • Partner with accounts payable and internal business units to resolve invoice/PO issues, discrepancies, update billing cost centres, close PO’s in bulk for quarterly accrual activity
  • Work with Suppliers to drive e-invoicing
  • Support the Sr. Director Procurement by providing timely and accurate assistance on relevant topics and initiatives as required
  • Detail orientation with an ability to think strategically and make recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
  • Experience with procurement software (including systems such as Coupa & Netsuite), Intake platform management & approval workflows and renewal management
  • Prior experience managing diverse stakeholder interests and expectations
  • Knowledgeable in working with tools including Word, Excel, ERP systems, and contract management tools
