Requirements
- Prior experience and knowledge working with hardware and software providers
- A strong attention to detail and quality with demonstrated capability to monitor own work to ensure quality, accuracy, and thoroughness
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (executive management, distribution partners, etc)
- Adaptability to changes in the work environment to manage competing demands and deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
- Dependability to be able to produce work regularly and on-time, following, responding to management direction, and soliciting feedback to improve performance
- A proficiency in data entry with a strong attention to detail
- A high respect for confidentiality
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills and time management/prioritization skills
- A results-oriented drive with the ability to take ownership of attaining performance goals
- A strong work and service ethic
- Superior poise and judgment
Responsibilities
- Participate in the fulfillment process by ordering all hardware and software for Dataprise external clients, as well as for internal use
- Perform troubleshooting of discontinued hardware or price changes with Solution Engineering department after execution
- Track all orders and update clients and appropriate internal staff on order status
- Provide weekly reporting on the status, etc. on all open orders to provide comprehensive visibility to management on product resale
- Investigate any invoice disputes from clients pertaining to hardware or software orders
- Analyze each product deal prior to ordering to ensure Dataprise maximizes gross profit including securing override approval from Sales/Services executives for product pricing that is below guideline
- Identify and evaluate potential vendors to meet the companyβs needs
- Secure favorable terms and conditions for products and services
- Ensure vendors meet quality standards and adhere to company policies
- Work to consolidate purchasing to as few as possible and identifying preferred vendor sources
- Recommend any improvements to policies, procedures, processes, controls, systems etc
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelorβs Degree is preferred but not required
