Summary
Join DGR Systems as a Procurement Coordinator and support our purchasing operations. This entry-level role requires 1β2 years of experience in procurement or complex ordering within fast-paced environments. You will manage communications with distributors, create and coordinate purchase orders, and ensure accuracy throughout the procurement process. The position is based in either Tampa, FL (primarily onsite) or St. Louis, MO (remotely). Responsibilities include managing order placement and fulfillment, creating purchase orders, coordinating procurement activities, maintaining accurate records, monitoring inventory, resolving order issues, ensuring compliance, supporting vendor relationships, and assisting with special projects. Requirements
- 1β2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with distributors and vendors to manage order placement and fulfillment
- Create, review, and process purchase orders for complex purchases
- Coordinate procurement activities across departments to ensure timely ordering and delivery
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
- Monitor inventory levels and track shipments
- Resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, or payments
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
- Support vendor relationship management and assist in vendor evaluations
- Assist with special projects as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus
