Procurement Specialist

Summary

Join Wiz, a rapidly growing cloud security company, as a Procurement Specialist! Reporting to the Head of Global Procurement, you will manage purchase requests and orders, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to optimize costs and improve terms. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of indirect procurement experience. You will handle negotiations, contracts, and vendor management, requiring strong communication and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in procurement software and a solid understanding of procurement processes. This position is currently focused on candidates located in the Eastern time zone.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in indirect procurement
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain principles
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., Zip)
• Ability to analyze data and use it to make informed decisions
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Manage Purchase Orders end to end
• Reduce company costs & improve terms
• Handle negotiations and contracts end to end, working with all relevant stakeholders (Legal, Finance, etc)
• Work with all the relevant stakeholders (Business owner, Legal, Finance, Security, etc.)
• Provide excellent service to the relevant departments
• Work independently and prioritize multiple tasks and projects

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of contract law and procurement regulations
