Product Lead

Summary

Join Prolific as a Product Lead and become a key leader in the Product, Research, and Design Group. You will be responsible for the impact and outcomes of the Human Data Product Group, managing product managers and a stream-aligned team. This role requires extensive product experience, strong data literacy, and people management skills. You will coach, mentor, and unblock colleagues, partnering with various teams to deliver products iteratively. Requirements

• Extensive and varied track record, and ability to teach and inspire others
• Understanding of the different needs businesses and enterprises have when it comes to their software products and contracts (B2B) vs what individual consumers expect (B2C)
• Competence or expertise in most or all of: The industry’s prevailing Product tools, models, and methodologies, hands-on experience of Agile frameworks, Continuous Discovery, CI/CD, JTBD frameworks, thin or vertical slicing, self-organizing teams, Team Topologies, advocacy of ‘thinking in bets,’ test-learn-iterate loops, and Growth loops / Growth hacking
• Strong data literacy and true data-driven decision-making and the ability to coach this
• People management or extensive coaching experience, with a track record of success in developing world-class technologists
• A storyteller’s flair, a player/coach instinct, belief in ‘strong opinions weakly held’, personal accountability, and a relentless can-do attitude

• Manage your Group’s Product Managers
• Product manage a stream-aligned team
• Solve user problems and create new opportunities for users
• Elevate Prolific’s Product Management team
• Coach behaviors and skills, and model game-changing approaches
• Act as an unblocker and simplifier of complexity
• Partner with Product Design, User Research, Analytics, and Engineering to deliver products in a test-learn-iterate fashion

• Experience teaching others at scale
• Scale-up or startup experience
• AI/ML training / AI/ML development experience
• A track record of giving back to your Product community
