Summary
Join Stripe's Global and Local Payment Methods (LPM) team as the Product Lead, Head of Americas and Bank Methods! You will spearhead product strategy, roadmap execution for Latin America, Canada, and Bank Methods. Responsibilities include defining and executing product strategies, growing key business areas, and leading high-performing product management teams across multiple continents. You will also be responsible for hiring, managing, and building these teams. This role requires a proven track record of success in product management, leading cross-functional initiatives, and developing long-term product visions. The ideal candidate possesses deep user empathy, strong communication skills, and a results-oriented approach.
Requirements
- 10+ years as a product manager with a proven track record of leading and managing successful teams of 5+ product managers
- Experience leading cross-team initiatives from ideation to execution
- Experience developing a multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for large-scale products
- Experience both building new products (0โ1) and continuously improving existing product portfolios
- Technical expertise: youโve led technical products and/or have a background in computer science (or a related field)
- Experience working with compliance and legal teams
- Track record of persistence and a โwhatever-it-takesโ approach to making your product successful
- Deep user empathy and a high bar for user experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Latin America and Canada
- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Bank Methods
- Grow the LatAm, Canada, and Bank Methods businesses in line with our strategic goals
- Hire, manage, and build high-performing, customer-focused Product Management teams across multiple continents
- Lead a growing team of 6+ PMs to execute rigorously on our roadmap
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in payments, working with card networks or banking partners
- Experience working internationally and with large governments
- Experience in external-facing roles (sales, partnerships) and business negotiations
- Experience overseeing operational processes or managing operational teams
