Product Manager

Summary

The job is for a Product Manager at nCino responsible for managing feature sets within the COAO platform, collaborating with teams, building roadmaps, and ensuring customer outcomes. The role requires relevant experience in enterprise SaaS (preferably in banking), comfort with uncertainty, effective communication skills, ability to work independently, and travel domestically and to South Africa.

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of relevant experience in product management for enterprise SaaS (preferably in banking)
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex, enterprise grade products, connecting SaaS products to multiple internal and external business systems
• Being comfortable with uncertainty and curious to figure out solutions and paths forward without complete information and data
• Working with off-site engineering teams that may be time-shifted from your location
• Effective communication skills, including with executives at customer organizations, and the ability to simplify complex technical problems for non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a low data environment
• Ability to travel both domestically within the US and to South Africa, as appropriate

Responsibilities

• Managing several feature sets within the COAO platform
• Leading the creation of products within our SaaS banking platform
• Collaborating cross functionally with engineering, customer success, and implementation groups
• Enabling and educating our sales and customer success teams with product marketing

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical capabilities / training - a degree in CS or Engineering would be great but not required!
• Have an understanding of banking processes and banking cores
• Worked in tech for financial institutions
• Direct coding experience for basic API communications e.g. Postman, Mulesoft, Apache Camel, etc
