Summary
Join DoseSpot, a PE-backed start-up and leader in electronic prescribing software, as a Product Manager. You will play a pivotal role in DoseSpot Connect, collaborating with engineering, design, and business stakeholders. Responsibilities include owning product backlogs, defining user stories, driving prioritization, running experiments, and analyzing product performance. You will also lead agile delivery, run sprint ceremonies, manage dependencies, and improve delivery processes. Data-driven insights generation and cross-functional collaboration are key aspects of this role. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Program Management, or a hybrid Product Owner/Delivery Lead role in a SaaS environment
- Familiarity with product analytics tools (Pendo, Power BI) and ability to run basic SQL queries for reporting (or willingness to learn)
- Proven ability to independently manage delivery processes and proactively identify, escalate, and resolve execution risks without close supervision
- Demonstrated proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with experience leading or directly facilitating sprint ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
- Knowledge of or skills to quickly learn development platforms such as Azure DevOps and Jira
- Excellent organizational and communication skills—you make complex programs feel manageable and keep stakeholders aligned
- Proven ability to work independently and thrive in fast-changing environments
Responsibilities
- Own the product backlog for key features and programs within DoseSpot Connect
- Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure clarity for the engineering team
- Drive prioritization decisions, balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
- Partner with Product leadership to contribute to roadmap planning and delivery forecasting
- Run experiments and A/B tests to validate hypotheses and drive continuous product iteration
- Analyze product performance and customer engagement data to identify areas for improvement
- Run sprint ceremonies: planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, demos, backlog grooming
- Track sprint velocity, dependencies, and blockers—working with engineering leads to keep delivery on track
- Own go/no-go decisions for feature releases in coordination with engineering and QA
- Lead cross-team coordination for multi-sprint or multi-team initiatives
- Establish and continuously improve delivery processes, playbooks, and tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira)
- Generate reports and insights using tools like Pendo, Power BI, or SQL (basic querying proficiency preferred)
- Help Product and Engineering leadership make informed decisions with delivery and usage data
- Serve as the primary day-to-day execution point between Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders
- Coordinate with QA, UX, and Customer teams to ensure high-quality, customer-centric feature releases
- Manage communication with third-party vendors and technical partners as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrum Master certification
- Healthcare or SaaS experience
- Pharmaceutical experience a plus
