Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or have relevant experience
  • Possess 5+ years of experience in Product Management
  • Have 2+ years of experience managing people
  • Understand the software development lifecycle and be familiar with agile methodologies
  • Have experience interfacing with engineering to provide business use cases and details
  • Have experience with delivery systems like Jira and Confluence
  • Possess strong knowledge of advertising sales, the media marketplace, and technology trends
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Be able to speak fluently with business, marketing, design, data, and engineering team members

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of product owners working on multiple products supporting Sales, Marketing, and Insights & Measurement
  • Oversee and maintain the roadmap for their suite of products
  • Participate in special projects that touch other functional areas
  • Understand and articulate business objectives, priorities, and demands
  • Understand the technology landscape and ensure products are built to support business goals, adhere to best practices, and fit into the overall strategic goals of NBCUniversal
  • Deliver solutions effectively
  • Ensure clarity in requirements, relevant and efficient technology processes and procedures, and overall fluid software development
  • Plan, manage execution, and communicate milestones and challenges
  • Identify risks and effectively work to mitigate them
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

  • Have experience presenting to executive leadership and handling sensitive customer situations
  • Have a proven ability to deliver on commitments
  • Be able to lead and work autonomously
  • Be able to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to develop strong relationships with management and internal collaborators
  • Have experience with media sales, traffic systems, and agency exchange systems
  • Hold an MBA
