Summary
Join OpenZeppelin's Product Team as a Product Manager and contribute to the strategy, planning, launch, and adoption of our developer tools for building onchain applications. You will define and execute product roadmaps, work with cross-functional teams, manage product backlogs, and establish key performance metrics. This role requires strong product management experience, open-source familiarity, a deep understanding of blockchain technologies (especially Ethereum), and excellent communication skills. Requirements
- 3+ years of product management experience with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive product initiatives from concept to launch
 - Open Source experience, either working at an open source company, as a creator of an open source project and community or as a contributor to a popular open source project
 - Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, particularly Ethereum, and familiarity with the developer tools and communities within the ecosystem
 - An ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment, taking initiative to drive projects forward
 - Technical background such as a degree in Engineering or Computer Science
 - Excellent organization, execution and project management skills, data driven approach to product decisions
 - Experience writing documentation or producing other content to synthesize technical concepts and communicating them in a clear, simple way
 - Ability to balance short-term objectives with long-term vision, aligning product developments with overall company goals
 - Startup experience
 
Responsibilities
- Define and execute a clear product roadmap for our Build Tools that aligns with our vision to scale secure blockchain applications to a broader audience
 - Work closely with Development, Design, Data Team, and other stakeholders to discover and deliver solutions that meet the needs of developers and users alike
 - Manage the product backlog, prioritize opportunities based on impact, and oversee the end-to-end execution of product initiatives
 - Establish key performance metrics to guide product decisions and measure success, ensuring that we are delivering value to both developers and the broader ecosystem
 - Report on progress, identify strategic challenges, and refine product strategies in collaboration with leadership
 - Engage with developers and ecosystem partners to understand unmet needs, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience contributing to open-source smart contract libraries and developer tools
 - Hands-on experience with smart contract development or familiarity with programming languages used in blockchain development
 - Participation in blockchain events, forums, or other forms of community engagement
