Requirements
- 3-5 years of product management experience with a proven track record of success, preferably within the tech startup industry
- Demonstrated ability to mentor other team members and drive new initiatives that help scale teams
- Experience in data insights and how to enable end-users to modify and expand to meet their needs is a must
- Keen understanding of how to onboard and manage users
- Familiarity with workflows, systems, and technologies to ingest, enrich, store and serve data (e.g. BigQuery/Looker/SiSense, SQL, ETL)
- Value-driven mindset with strong analytical skills to guide decision-making and show progress
- Experience collaborating with developers, data scientists, and designers in an agile environment
Responsibilities
- Develop and articulate a clear product vision and create and deliver a product roadmap
- Lead the execution of the product roadmap by coordinating teams to ensure timely delivery of product features
- Foster strong partnerships with sponsors, engineering, design, and analytics teams
- Translate product requirements into actionable development tasks
- Ensure that all team members are aligned with the product goals and are equipped to contribute effectively
- Conduct regular consultations with customers and internal teams to collect feedback and understand their needs
- Stay informed of market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats
- Utilize this information to inform product enhancements and strategic pivots
- Manage the sometimes competing interests of various stakeholders, including customers, team members, and executive leadership
- Strive to find solutions that align stakeholder expectations with the product vision and business objectives, ensuring a balanced approach to product development
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings to track progress, contribute to planning sessions to prioritize work, attend sprint reviews to assess deliverables, and engage in retrospectives to identify areas for improvement
- Work in tandem with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to plan and execute product launches and updates
- Ensure that all go-to-market strategies are aligned with the product vision and that teams are provided with the necessary training and resources to effectively promote and support the product
- Define clear success metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product
- Regularly analyze and report on these metrics to stakeholders, providing insights into product performance
- Use data-driven analysis to make informed decisions about future product developments and to demonstrate the value delivered to the business
- Analyze existing product development processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
- Implement best practices and methodologies to streamline workflows and enhance collaboration
