Product Manager - Cybersecurity

Summary

Join Mark43's Security & Compliance Team as a Cybersecurity Product Manager and help launch a new product line focused on assisting customers with complex security and compliance needs. This greenfield role offers the unique opportunity to shape a mission-critical product from its inception, directly impacting public safety agencies. You will conduct in-depth customer interviews, partner with engineering and design teams, write product requirements, review regulatory frameworks, collaborate on go-to-market strategies, and participate in roadmap planning. The position is remote and welcomes candidates from across the U.S., supporting flexible work arrangements. Requirements

• We’re looking for a seasoned Product Manager with 5+ years of experience building and launching software products, ideally in a SaaS environment
• You should have a strong track record of writing product requirements, conducting customer interviews, and working closely with engineering and design teams

Responsibilities

• Conducted in-depth interviews with public safety customers to identify their most pressing security and compliance challenges
• Partnered with engineering and design to scope and prioritize requirements for a new compliance management feature
• Wrote detailed product requirements and user stories for an MVP release
• Reviewed key regulatory frameworks (CJIS, NIST, FedRAMP) to ensure our roadmap aligns with customer needs
• Collaborated with the CISO and cross-functional teams to refine our go-to-market strategy
• Participated in a roadmap planning session with company leadership to define long-term product vision

• Experience with security and compliance technologies or frameworks is a plus but not required
