Requirements

  • Proven experience (3 years) as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role in the healthcare domain, with at least 2 years of experience focused on data platforms, data analytics, or related technologies
  • Deep understanding of data concepts, tools, and technologies (e.g., data warehousing, ETL, reporting, Cloud environments, dashboards, predictive analytics)
  • Demonstrated experimentation mindset and data-informed decision-making
  • Proven track record of collaborating with engineering, AI/ML, and analytics teams to deliver high-quality data
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data and technical concepts into usable assets
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical data platform requirements
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik)

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Data Platform Product Leader, the wider team and key stakeholders to define, deliver and own strategic data stores and ensure data are fit for purpose
  • Define requirements for storing and accessing patient event data
  • Champion and drive best practices for data stewardship and data quality across internal teams and external partners
  • Partner with the technology team to develop and maintain data contracts to ensure schema and integrity across ingestion and processing pipelines feeding the data stores
  • Support the creation and maintenance data dictionaries to standardize definitions and improve usability
  • Partner with upstream product management, data and engineering to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Partner with data governance teams to enforce data lineage, access controls, and compliance
  • Act as a platform evangelist for the use of trusted, well documented datastores sourced within Cohere’s Data Platform

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a SaaS or technology-driven company
  • Knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics techniques
  • Certification in product management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Marketing Certified)
  • Experience with data governance, security, and compliance requirements (e.g., NCQA, HIPAA)
