Summary

Join Lightspeed's Shared Services team as a Product Manager II for our Invoicing product! You will own the product direction and strategy for a key invoicing area, collaborating with customers and internal teams. This greenfield product role offers a unique opportunity to innovate and impact merchant success. You will craft feature definitions, gather customer insights, create product plans, drive implementation, and collaborate on product launches. The ideal candidate possesses a proven product management track record in SaaS, a bachelor's degree, and 3+ years of experience. Requirements

  • Successful candidates must have a proven product management track record in SaaS products at scale
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, ideally within ecommerce, payments and/or SaSS products
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading cross-functional teams, driving product vision, and executing product roadmaps in a fast-paced, agile eonvironment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to a diverse audience, including senior leadership, technical teams, and non-technical stakeholders
  • A deep passion for enhancing user experiences through technology, with a customer-centric approach to solving problems and delivering value
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to forge strong relationships across the organization, influence without authority, and lead teams toward shared goals and successful outcomes
  • Expertise in product management and Agile/Scrum product development life cycles, as well as building and delivering high-quality software on time
  • A solid understanding of setting, measuring, and improving product success metrics
  • Familiarity working in parallel with multiple squads across different time-zones
  • Ability to lead client discovery, solutioning, and alignment conversations
  • Understanding of product strategy development and roadmapping tools

Responsibilities

  • Craft feature and scope definitions that balance customer, business and implementation perspectives
  • Gather insights from our existing customer base, internal stakeholders, and market trends to help shape product direction
  • Create easily understood product delivery plans and requirements in collaboration with technical and design team members
  • Drive implementation and execution of the team’s roadmap
  • Contribute and evaluate new product concepts for consideration in future roadmap plans
  • Collaborate with Go-to-Market teams to coordinate successful product launches
  • Define and report on product success
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Become the Product SME for the product offerings you own
  • Contribute as part of the wider team to achieve organizational objectives even if this means doing things that aren’t strictly within the scope of your role

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Understanding of payments, ecommerce, invoicing, and other products that are critical in retail merchant workflows
  • Retail and eCommerce industry experience
