Summary
Join Rackspace Technology as a Program Manager IV and lead programs or multiple projects from initiation to completion. This remote position requires strong project management skills, experience with Agile methodologies, and the ability to define and document product requirements. You will collaborate with various teams, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and ensure the development team meets sprint goals and maintains technical documentation. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field required, master’s degree preferred
- Additional experience may substitute for the degree requirement at a rate of 3 years of experience for 1 year of education
- 5+ years related experience (technology and/or product management)
- Advanced knowledge of coordinating and monitoring projects from initiation through delivery
- Advanced knowledge of developing and documenting business processes
- Advanced knowledge of developing and documenting product requirements docs
- Advanced knowledge of evaluating business processes and identifying areas where efficiencies may be gained
- Excellent time management, communications, decision making, presentation, human relations, and organizational skills
- Expert knowledge of the following domains: IT industry and product domain
Responsibilities
- Write user stories, elaborate requirements, and assist in the development of acceptance tests
- Be available to the development teams to clarify ambiguity around product requirements
- Raise resource concerns to development management and product management
- Facilitate all Agile Ceremonies including but not limited to: Stand Ups, Sprint. Planning, Retrospectives, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews/Demos
- Remove or help resolve impediments for the development team
- Participates in the Approved Intake Review process and gathers requests for the sprint backlog
- Facilitate the prioritization of the sprint and sprint backlog
- Enforce priorities from leadership and product management to the development team
- Communicate development teams LOE to Product & Project Management
- Ensure development team remains on sprint schedule and sprint goals are met
- Ensure development team creates and maintains technical documentation
- Responsible for team metrics including but not limited to velocity, cycle time and sprint reports, sprint health, release health, application statistics, etc
- Meet with end-users and product management to understand business processes in stakeholder meetings
- Define system, functional and non-functional requirements for the product as user stories and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with various teams to identify integration points, potential impact and application dependencies
- Facilitate UAT Sessions to gather feedback and future feature requests on behalf of the development team

- The anticipated starting pay range for Colorado is: $96,800 - $142,010
- The anticipated starting pay range for the states of Hawaii and New York (not including NYC) is: $103,100 - $151,140
- The anticipated starting pay range for California, New York City and Washington is: $112,900 - $165,550
- Unless already included in the posted pay range and based on eligibility, the role may include variable compensation in the form of bonus, commissions, or other discretionary payments
