You will own the bi-directional integrations product roadmap, collaborating with engineering and customers. Requirements

  • Proven track record in integrations product management or a related role, demonstrating a deep understanding of product lifecycle and defining the optimal user journey
  • Solid understanding of API technology and usage in integrations, experience defining requirements
  • Hands-on experience in fast-paced, delivery-focused settings with a strong grasp of Agile methodologies (sprints, backlog grooming, etc.) to drive efficient product development
  • Effective cross functional collaborator, bridging the knowledge gap between engineering and customer facing functions
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic business objectives into actionable product initiatives, aligning with organizational goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective facilitation of dynamic meetings, elicitation of insights from diverse experts, and translation of needs into impactful product features
  • Track record of managing and prioritizing multiple features across multiple teams and development phases, ensuring successful outcomes
  • Strong quantitative skills with meticulous attention to detail, leveraging data-driven insights to make informed decisions
  • Self starter; ability to act autonomously
  • Fluent in utilizing product management tools to streamline processes and enhance productivity
  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing startup and wearing many hats
  • Must be located in Seattle, SF, NY or Calgary

Responsibilities

  • Strategically Lead bi-directional Integrations Product Roadmap: Take ownership of the integrations product roadmap, strategically guiding its evolution to align with business objectives and market needs
  • Drive Requirements Gathering and Roadmap Definition: Facilitate comprehensive requirements gathering, leveraging expertise from multiple teams to define a clear and cohesive roadmap that meets customer demands and technical capabilities
  • Cultivate User Empathy and Feedback Loop: Establish a culture of user empathy within the team, adeptly leveraging diverse user feedback to inform product decisions. Conduct customer interviews and impart product validation techniques to enhance user-centered design
  • Leverage Data Insights for Informed Decisions: Utilize advanced data analytics skills to derive actionable insights, driving data-driven product decisions and effectively communicating progress
  • Excel as a Communicator and Brand Representative: Serve as an expert communicator, ensuring transparent internal and external communication on product progress, key decisions, and achievements. Represent Syndio confidently at industry events and engagements
  • Navigate Ambiguity to Foster Clarity: Demonstrate comfort in ambiguous situations, adeptly acting with incomplete information to provide clarity and direction for colleagues and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing SaaS platforms
  • Familiarity with data structures e.g., payroll data, HRIS data, etc
  • Workday, UKG and SAP integration experience
  • Experience with Human Resource systems
  • Familiarity with multiple functional areas, such as project management, engineering, UX/UI, sales, customer support, finance or marketing

Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation. For this role our salary is targeted at $132,000 USD -$157,000 USD per year, if hired in Calgary: $130,000 CAD-$150,000 CAD per year. Final offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience and expertise. We take a geo neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location
