Summary

Join Anaplan, a leading provider of scenario planning and analysis platform, as an Outbound Product Marketing Manager - Sales Solutions. You will be responsible for creating and communicating impactful content highlighting Anaplan's advantage in Sales Performance Management (SPM), supporting GTM strategy, and driving the launches of new applications and products. You will work closely with stakeholders across Product, Sales, GTM Operations, Competitive Intelligence, and Marketing to develop compelling customer-facing content, support solution product marketing and sales enablement plans, and research buyer personas and market trends. This role requires 5+ years of related B2B enterprise product marketing or presales experience, ideally in areas like sales forecasting, sales planning, incentive compensation management, and revenue intelligence. You will also be responsible for supporting sales play and application launches, discovering and documenting complex buying/selling processes, and developing the SPM social media strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years related B2B enterprise product marketing or presales experience, ideally in one or more of the following areas: sales forecasting, sales planning, incentive compensation management, revenue intelligence, revenue orchestration, marketing performance management, and AI/ML
  • Content creation and strategic messaging skills, including a showcase of work delivered elsewhere
  • Proven capability to influence senior executives and purchasing stakeholders with messaging and content
  • Demonstrable GTM / launch experience
  • High energy, creativity, can-do attitude, agility, ability to manage multiple priorities, and bias-for-action with exemplary results
  • Strong analysis and communication skills in writing and content development

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of compelling customer-facing content such as blogs, long-form content, videos, webinars, presentations, and website copy to drive awareness, adoption, and retention
  • Support solution product marketing and sales enablement plans to support revenue objectives of growing existing ACV and acquiring new customers in the sales performance management domain
  • Partner with Sales Applications Product team to develop messaging and positioning, build and deliver sales tools across the sales cycle, including customer stories, sales wins, partner stories, and other sales tools and sales content, to enable sales teams to communicate the value of Anaplan effectively
  • Research buyer personas and market trends, via both primary and secondary research to identify potential market opportunities and messages for Anaplan’s SPM line of business
  • Support sales play and application launches by building messaging in collaboration with Product and GTM functions, craft marketing plans, drive, and support partner enablement in collaboration with partner marketing
  • Discover and document complex buying/selling processes involving multiple decision-makers for software and solution purchases and translate them to successful GTM strategies
  • Support the broader team to evangelize our solutions at conferences, and tradeshows, to analysts and customers
  • Develop the SPM social media strategy for LinkedIn, Twitter, and other platforms to deliver messaging and positioning
