Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing
  • Proven success in driving retention and engagement through impactful product marketing strategies and initiatives
  • Strong experience with market research, data analysis, product positioning, and messaging
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical features into clear, compelling value for customers
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business goals
  • Proficiency with marketing automation tools (Ortto) and data analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Mixpanel)

Responsibilities

  • Own product positioning and messaging for key products (Cargo, Kits) and offerings (subscription plans, bundles, etc.), crafting compelling narratives that resonate with different audiences, from hobbyists to enterprise studios
  • Lead and execute go-to-market strategies for product launches, feature releases, and updates, ensuring alignment with sales and marketing goals
  • Own development of and reporting on key product marketing metrics, including product adoption, customer feedback, and sales performance, using this data to optimize future initiatives
  • Design and execute experimentation across key marketing channels (email, landing pages, in-app messages) to optimize messaging, creative, and campaign performance, using insights to refine strategies and improve performance
  • Conduct research to identify customer preferences and needs, competitive positioning, and trends, using these insights to inform product marketing strategies
  • Manage the full product marketing lifecycle, from pre-launch planning to post-launch analysis, tracking KPIs and optimizing future strategies based on performance data
  • Work with the content and creative teams to develop marketing assets, including landing pages, emails, sales enablement materials, social media content, and advertising campaigns, to promote product features and benefits

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in SaaS, eCommerce, or technology industries
  • Familiarity with marketing to creative professionals, game developers, or creative studios
  • Experience with experimentation and data-driven product marketing
  • While this position is open to remote candidates, ability to work 1-2 days per week from our Portland, OR office is a plus

  • Competitive salary - We believe in transparency and fairness in our hiring process. This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 . Offers will generally fall within this range and take into account various factors including the responsibilities of the position, location of the applicant, experience, skill set, internal pay equity, and other relevant qualifications of the applicant. We encourage all qualified candidates to apply, regardless of where they may fall within the stated range
