Responsibilities

  • Work with the stakeholders and product managers to analyze data and align product roadmap to strategic goals
  • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally, and as the primary technical contact for queries related to the product
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
  • Work closely with key roles such as Tech Leads and Delivery Managers to ensure requirements clarity and technical excellence
  • Develop scope documents and define Epics/User Stories that guide the Software Development teams
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Define priorities for short-term delivery within sprints and also for longer-term delivery along with Product Managers and stakeholders
  • Solve problems, make decisions, and complete trade-off analysis to stay on track toward business development commitments
  • Ensure that dependencies, risks, and stakeholders’ expectations are identified and managed
  • Develop appropriately detailed specifications for product features so that they are clearly understood by the development team
  • Increase transparency and enable direct communication between tech and business
  • Provide the necessary information required to help teams make informed decisions autonomously
  • Support the teams to reach their long and short-term commitments by removing anything that impedes their work
  • Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation
  • Ensure effective coordination, establish feedback loops, and enable overall orchestration among various teams, stakeholders, and customers
  • Run refinement sessions with the development teams in order to articulate delivery goals, provide details, and refine stories
  • Run iteration reviews or demo sessions with the help of QA engineers in order to present the iteration deliverables to stakeholders and receive feedback
