Production Orders Administrator

Summary

Join Xometry's Operations team as a Production Order Administrator! This remote, full-time role focuses on managing the execution of production orders through our manufacturing partner network. You will supervise order processing, select contractors, support manufacturing processes, track payments, and resolve issues with customers and manufacturers. Success requires fluency in English and German, relevant experience in procurement, logistics, or order management, and a problem-solving mindset. Requirements

• Speak fluently and conduct business correspondence (at level of B2 or higher) in English and German
• Have at least 1 year of relevant experience (procurement / logistics / order management)
• Be ready to solve problems that differ from the base scenario
• Want to work in a fast growing business environment
• Be willing to systematize own work, and to participate in the task of process automation
• Have a comfortable workplace with stable internet access and the possibility to participate in conference calls (position is 100% home office)

Responsibilities

• Supervise the processing of production orders, and document in internal CRM and ERP systems
• Select suitable contractors in the database of the production partners
• Support the manufacturing process: control of dates and dispatch, organization of delivery and quality control of the products
• Track payments, and work with customers
• Solve problems and special cases with customers and manufacturers that occur during order processing
• Achieve results despite the difficulties encountered

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience in working with engineering orders
• Have experience with transactional IT systems for the automation of sales, production and logistics processes
• Show willingness to work overtime (paid). Be available for urgent questions outside of business hours
