Summary
The Professional Services Implementation Manager II will lead the execution of complex implementation projects at EasyPost, a rapidly growing company specializing in simplifying shipping. The role requires a skilled project manager with a deep understanding of client engagement, team leadership, and technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent related work experience
- Proven experience in project management, professional services, or a related field
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Technical background with an understanding of software solutions and implementation processes
- Ability to analyze complex problems, prioritize tasks, and make informed decisions
- Experience in managing budgets and resource allocation for projects
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices, quality standards, and established processes
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients during the implementation process, building strong relationships and managing client expectations
- Collaborate with clients to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
- Provide regular project updates to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure the successful integration, configuration, and deployment of solutions that meet client requirements
- Provide guidance on technical challenges and contribute to solution design discussions
- Proactively identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Address project-related issues promptly, working with cross-functional teams to find effective solutions
- Collaborate with sales, account management, product, and support teams to ensure alignment on project scope, goals, and requirements
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among different departments to ensure seamless project delivery
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, change requests, and client communications
- Provide regular project updates and performance reports to senior management
