Summary
The job is for a Program Delivery Manager (PDMG) on the FEMA Public Assistance TAC contract, responsible for providing customer service and coordinating grant delivery to disaster-affected communities. The role requires deployment to disaster sites for at least 6 months with travel expenses covered.
Requirements
- Must be willing and able to deploy up to 100% to sites of the disasters for a minimum of 6 months
- Candidate must be willing and able to obtain/maintain/transfer a DHS/FEMA Clearance and badge
- All candidates are required to pass a FEMA security training (annual), Grants Manager training, and PDMG training class (E/L 0869) in order to qualify for deployment
Responsibilities
- Provides customer service to assigned applicants throughout the PA grant management process
- Works with the PA Site Inspector Task Force Leader (SI-TFL) and PA Program Delivery Task Force Leader (PDMG-TFL) to coordinate effective, efficient, and accurate delivery of grant funding
- Coordinates with numerous stakeholders, such as recipients and subrecipients, to complete PA grants
- Uses Grant Manager software to enter, update, and retrieve grant information
- Follows applicable local, state, tribal, territorial, and Federal regulations on grant eligibility
- Provides outstanding customer service to applicants including prompt follow-up and a professional demeanor
- Leads meetings with applicants and sub-applicants, including but not limited to: Exploratory Call (EC) Recovery Scoping Meeting (RSM), Recovery Transition Meeting (RTM), and Status Calls
- Tracks and follows-up with the Applicant on FEMAβs Requests for Information and documentation submission
- Coordinates transmittal of documents and information between the Applicant and FEMAβs Consolidated Resource Center
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in any state is a plus (preferred but not required)
- Appropriate Current Certifications are highly recommended and desired, such as: Engineers β Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in any state, Project Managers β Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent, Accountants β Certified Professional Accountant (CPA or equivalent, Construction Managers: Project Management Institute β Construction Professional (PMI-CP, Certified Construction Manager (CCM, or equivalent
