Requirements
- Be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a program manager in managing large-scale programs consisting of 5 or more cross-functional teams, which shall include a minimum of 2 years of experience on Federal programs and projects, within the last 10 years
- An active PMI Project Management Professional (PMPยฎ), PMI Program Management Professional (PgMPยฎ) Certification, or a Bachelor, or Masterโs degree from an accredited institution in Information Technology or a related field with commensurate work experience
- Formal training and certification in Agile software development methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in the management, design, implementation, and maintenance of modern customer-facing digital services
- Demonstrated experience with the management, utilization, and supervision of cross-functional team members working in an Agile environment within the government, including the management and operations of existing systems and the transformation and consolidation of systems in support of improving efficiency, data quality, and service delivery
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience in presenting material to senior Government officials
Responsibilities
- Formulate, organize, coordinate, and monitor inter-connected projects, including determining appropriate strategies and objectives
- Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities while ensuring teams maintain schedules with timelines and dependencies clearly communicated
- Assume responsibility for and lead multiple cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Apply change, risk, and resource management, and assess program performance while maximizing ROI
- Communicate and resolve higher scope issues, and provide leadership and guidance in areas where additional oversight is needed
- Prepare written and verbal reports and briefings for OCIO stakeholders
- Ensure cross training of project team members and staff to prevent gaps and encourage continuity of operations
