Summary

Threat Tec is seeking a dynamic, experienced Program Manager to oversee multiple government contracts, lead diverse teams, develop relationships with clients, and ensure program success. The candidate must have 5-8 years' experience in government contracting, 3-5 years' experience managing DOD/Government programs, and a minimum of a Bachelor's degree. PMP certification is required within 180 days of hire.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in government contracting (Gov Con) is required
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience managing DOD/Government Programs
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Must obtain PMP certification within one hundred and eighty days (180) of date of hire
  • Demonstrated P&L responsibility and experience managing IDIQ programs with multiple active task orders using various contract types
  • Proven experience managing contracts and staff in multiple locations
  • Prior experience supporting a government contract with a Union/CBA in a program manager role
  • Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, JTR
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee multiple government contracts/task orders, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions
  • Lead and coordinate a diverse team of professionals across multiple contracts at various work locations to achieve program objectives
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
  • Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Implement and monitor performance metrics to track program progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Provide strategic guidance and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Prepare and present regular program updates, reports, and presentations to senior management and clients
  • Support the company’s continued growth by expanding existing revenue-generating activities with the current customer base while systematically cultivating and maintaining collaborative, mutually beneficial relationships with key external stakeholders and organizations to achieve company strategic goals
  • Interact regularly with company leadership and functional departments to ensure that operational priorities are aligned with company direction and needs
  • Support Union/CBA agreements and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred background and experience with U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, or U.S. Air Force
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience using Deltek CostPoint, Concur and Paylocity preferred
