Summary

Join Bogaard Group International (BGI) as a non-technical Project Coordinator! Based remotely in Southern California (ideally Los Angeles), you'll support our Consultants and Project Managers in serving clients across various sectors. Your responsibilities include coordinating project schedules, maintaining documentation, and proactively addressing potential issues. Strong writing skills and a desire to learn about the security industry are essential. This role requires a degree in a related field and excellent communication skills. While 0-2 years of experience is preferred, a strong academic background and research experience are highly valued.

Requirements

  • Degree in Criminology, Law, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or a related field
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Possess a strong desire to learn new things and to grow within the company
  • High level of social awareness and emotional intelligence to foster strong, collaborative relationships both within the organization and with external clients
  • Ability to multitask and balance competing deadlines and projects
  • Ability to travel regionally as required
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools, technology, and applications

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day work required to develop SOPs, reports, and trainings in a user-friendly manner that aligns with BGI and the assigned client’s culture
  • Coordinate the schedule of activities for assigned projects internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure all projects remain on track
  • Maintain all documentation associated with assigned projects in accordance with BGI and client requirements
  • Proactively escalate any foreseen issues with timelines, resources, and/or personnel to assigned Project Manager(s) or Consultant(s)
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and workflows associated with assigned projects
  • Remain flexible to the needs of assigned clients while balancing multiple priorities and projects
  • Support various operational and administrative duties for the company

Preferred Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience in private sector safety and security or a related field
  • Research experience
