Summary
Join Coalfire as a Project Manager and take ownership of the end-to-end project lifecycle for cybersecurity projects. You will be the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, managing project plans, resources, and communication. This role requires strong project management skills, experience in a client-facing consulting environment within the cybersecurity industry, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a client-facing, consulting environment
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in the cybersecurity industry
- Bachelor's Degree or associate degree plus equivalent experience in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field of study
- Ability to provide full-time support to Cyber Security Services teams based in the United States
- Experience with Smartsheets or Microsoft Project
- Ability to structure and lead cross-functional teams and stakeholders through the full life cycle of projects
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Management methodology: including waterfall and agile methodologies
- Proven success managing several projects simultaneously
- Experience creating, adapting, or updating project management governance and processes for a centralized PMO
- Demonstrated project ownership and consistent delivery on commitments
Responsibilities
- Own the full project life cycle, from initiation to deployment for multiple simultaneous initiatives
- Serve as the main point of contact for the customer and the Coalfire team throughout the project
- Prepare project plans for all phases of the project with appropriate detail
- Work with Resource Deployment Managers to secure resources to achieve project objectives within the planned timeframe
- Closely work with the engagement lead to manage day-to-day activities and resources on project engagements
- Provide status reporting on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership
- Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
- Be responsible for project scope, budget, timelines, communication, and change management
- Set and continually manage project expectations and risks while delegating and managing deliverables with project team members and stakeholders
- Monitor, track, and control issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables. Escalate issues when necessary and follow escalation through to resolution
- Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations to various audiences, including the project team, sponsors, and key stakeholders
- Work with a team of matrixed employees to deliver a succinct customer experience
- Ensure that projects and programs proceed according to established quality standards
- Understand project management principles, methods, and techniques
- Effectively apply Coalfire methodology and enforce project standards. Provide feedback on process changes and improvements
- Maintain company-defined billable utilization targets
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, CSM, PgMP, or related project management certification
