Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline
- 10+ years of engineering experience in planning and design of mechanical and treatment related projects
- 5+ years working in Project Manager capacity
- Professional Civil and/or Mechanical Engineer licensed in the State of California
- Pass pre-employment drug test and background check
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and analysis of water, wastewater and/or recycled water processes and facilities, including capacity analysis, facility plans, alternatives analysis, condition assessment, process evaluations, risk assessment, operations and maintenance assessments
- Lead the design of water, wastewater and/or treatment processes and facilities, open channel hydraulics, pump stations, treatment equipment (i.e. screens, clarifiers, blowers, dewatering equipment, filters, among others)
- Work in the field, including construction observation, inspections, field measurements, and monitoring equipment setup, as necessary
- Lead others in providing engineering services during construction, including reviewing contractor RFIs, submittals, change order requests, among others
Preferred Qualifications
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft office (Word and Excel)
- Excellent writing, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled in the use of AutoCAD
- Able to lead and work on challenging assignments in a team environment
