Summary

Join Entersekt as a Project Manager and plan, manage, and control the delivery of contracted services for clients in the payments and secure customer authentication markets. You will manage expectations, resolve roadblocks, and work closely with technical solutions architects. This customer-facing role requires managing project scope, ensuring on-track delivery, and managing risks. You will focus on continuous improvement by iterating lessons learned into the delivery methodology. The role involves engaging with clients and internal stakeholders, compiling detailed project plans, and managing projects using Agile and traditional methodologies. You will also manage project budgets and report to finance and account managers.

Requirements

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or computer science (preferred)
  • Project management qualification such as PMI
  • 6 years+ experience in software project delivery and working with external clients
  • Practical experience with project management techniques, methodologies, and best practices
  • Working knowledge of project tools such as TaskRay, MS Project, Confluence, Jira
  • Exposure to Agile software development approaches
  • Experience in online/e-commerce, payment processing, or customer authentication
  • Understanding of cloud-based solutions delivery such as AWS

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients and internal stakeholders on all levels, to define project scope, dependencies and risks to ensure projects delivery can be measured against what is commercially agreed
  • Compile, adapt, and communicate detailed project plans
  • Manage, and control project delivery using traditional, and Agile project management methodologies
  • Manage onboarding projects, where clients are onboarded to both cloud hosted/SaaS environments and to client on premises services in both the payments and customer authentication space
  • Manage customers according to expected delivery milestones, to meet expected timelines
  • Manage progress, actions and risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead customer project meetings and present executive status and risks to steerco
  • Manage scope changes using defined change management processes
  • Co-ordinate internal project status, solution and operational discussions as needed to ensure continued progress
  • Review and contribute solution and operational documents and artifacts, to ensure these are aligned with agreed scope
  • Manage and report on project budgets and work with finance and account managers to ensure accurate billing
  • Confidently present upsell and cross sell information to clients as opportunities arise during project realization
  • Document project details in key systems including Taskray, JIRA/Confluence, Salesforce, etc

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior technical exposure, such as payments, 3D Secure, cryptography, software development, networks or infrastructure, would be an advantage
  • Strong communication skills: the ability to articulate the key differentiators of our solutions and engage in technical delivery discussions with customers
  • A positive, results-focused, "can-do" attitude: the ability to demonstrate initiative and be proactive
  • Willingness to work outside of primary capacity
  • The ability to interact with senior management in the organization and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform effectively under stressful conditions such as directional changes, tight deadlines, and limited resources
  • Professionalism and the ability to use diplomacy in working relationships to deal with conflict and successfully arbitrate solutions
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Excellent facilitation skills in both small- and large-group settings, including working across globally dispersed teams
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Flexibility: open to change, doing what it takes to get the job done, and comfortable with ambiguity and evolving processes
  • Willingness to travel
