Project Manager

Summary

Join our team as a Store Development Project Manager and oversee retail store development projects from concept to completion. You will manage new store openings, renovations, and relocations across mall locations in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. This remote position, based in Los Angeles, requires leading construction projects, managing budgets and timelines, and coordinating with various stakeholders. You will ensure compliance with building codes and brand standards. The role demands strong project management skills, experience in retail construction, and proficiency in relevant software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of retail construction project management experience
• Strong knowledge of retail construction, building codes, and ADA requirements
• Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and construction management software
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 40%

Responsibilities

• Lead store construction projects, managing timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships
• Work with local governments in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico to properly and efficiently open new locations on an agreed upon timeline
• Coordinate with landlords, architects, contractors, and internal teams
• Oversee permit acquisition, construction documentation, and compliance
• Manage project budgets ranging from $250K to $1M per location
• Develop and track project schedules using project management software
• Ensure brand standards and design guidelines are maintained
• Other duties and special projects within skill and competency level as required
