Project Manager

Summary

As an early team member, you will play a crucial role in reducing maternal health disparities. This Project Manager position focuses on supporting Medicaid payer partnerships, leading successful implementation and management of key contracts, and contributing to business development. You will manage communication with clients and internal teams, track project success, and identify areas for improvement. This role requires strong project management, communication, and data analysis skills, along with experience in Medicaid Managed Care or healthcare payer settings. Requirements

• Highly organized, able to manage time effectively, and comfortable working across multiple workstreams concurrently
• 5-7 years of Medicaid Managed Care program / population experience or healthcare payer experience
• 1-3 years Project Management experience, including leading a program end-to-end
• Relationship management experience
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Strong data analysis skills
• Background/expertise in: maternal-child health, sexual & reproductive health, population health, Medicaid health policy, or other relevant fields

Responsibilities

• Support contracting, planning, and deployment of payer pilots
• Manage communication and relationship (phone, e-mail, meetings) with client and Mae team
• Develop status updates, report outs, and presentations to client and internal team
• Revise project plans / resources to meet changing needs and requirements
• Define, measure, and track success metrics of each initiative
• Identify client pain points and implement quick solutions
• Collaborate internally with other departments to address areas for improvement and/or client requests
• Lead internal progress tracking and growth strategy for assigned payer partners
