This part-time, fully remote Project Manager role (ideally within PST hours) involves leading the development of innovative B2C smart home products from concept to launch. You will independently manage multiple teams, ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining alignment with premium brand standards. The position requires experience in smart home, hardware, or app development, strong organizational and communication skills, and fluency in Mandarin. This opportunity allows you to independently lead projects from concept to market, collaborate globally, and bring exceptional B2C products to life.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in project management within the smart home, hardware, or app development sectors
  • B2C Expertise: Proven track record working on B2C products, ideally premium consumer goods
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Mandarin is mandatory; strong English skills (both written and verbal) for team presentations and collaboration
  • Independence: Ability to manage projects with minimal supervision, driving progress and resolving challenges proactively
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication for bridging language and cultural barriers across teams

Responsibilities

  • Manage Product Lifecycle: Drive product development from initial concept through launch, maintaining alignment across teams and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a bridge between design, engineering, logistics, and brand teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and communication
  • Develop Documentation: Create detailed project timelines, process flows, and technical documentation to guide team efforts and ensure clarity
  • B2C Market Focus: Bring expertise in B2C product development, understanding customer needs, and delivering exceptional user experiences
  • Smart Integration: Collaborate on the integration of smart technology features, ensuring seamless functionality in hardware or app-driven products
  • Handle Logistics: Partner with stakeholders to navigate import and customs requirements for product launches
  • Brand Strategy Collaboration: Work with the branding team to ensure all products reflect the organizationโ€™s premium positioning
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

Tools: Familiarity with project management platforms such as Asana, Slack, or Notion is a plus
